1. Does the school administration strongly support becoming a School of Respect in order to help all students develop strong respect for their job, others, and themselves?

What is your school's plan for funding the costs of being a School of Respect such as purchasing Respect T-shirts for students/faculty/staff and possibly the cost of a stipend for the faculty Respect Club adviser - unless someone is willing to volunteer or your school decides to use the Respect Club videos from the Bee Respectful YouTube® channel. (Some schools ask local businesses to consider donating the cost of becoming a School of Respect - other schools already have a non-profit educational foundation in place or they form one to cover the costs.)
4. What is the school's first-year tentative plan for modeling respect in all three areas - job, others, yourself? (things like all school faculty/staff trained by the Schools of Respect professional consultant in how to model respect - both between staff and students and between co-workers etc.)
5. What is the school's first-year tentative plan for teaching respect in all three areas? (things like teaching "The Seven Most Important Guidance Lessons About Respecting Others", briefly reviewing My Armor™ and My Shield™ with students on a weekly basis, teaching classroom guidance lessons in regard to how to respect your job and how to respect yourself, using Respect Club videos from the Bee Respectful YouTube® channel as needed, featuring respect for your job, others, and yourself periodically during Morning Meetings, etc.)
6. What is the school's first-year tentative plan for encouraging respect in all three areas? (things like banners relating to respect made by students throughout the school, all school personal speak in the same language of respect, respect permeates the school discipline procedures, etc.)
7. What is the school's first-year tentative plan for positively reinforcing respect in all three areas? (things like respect as the cornerstone of the PBIS program, staff trained to positively reinforce respect as soon as possible after they see or hear it, etc.)
8. What is the school's first-year tentative plan for engaging parents as a School of Respect stakeholder? (things like beginning of the year letter to parents about what a School of Respect is and possibly suggesting that they encourage and positively reinforce respect when they see it at home, "What I learned today!" information sent home after every guidance lesson related to respect, periodic evening meetings with parents by grade, etc.)
